The hand-rubbed finish is honed through a drawn-out multi-step process that yields a satiny smooth texture as well as a luster to delight the eyes. The top is a plank of solid wood with beveled edges and a subtle serpentine curve along the front edge.

The bottom drawer is cedar-lined and suitable for storing woolens. A felt lining ensures that the top drawer’s a safe place for delicate fabrics, jewelry, or anything else you don’t want to be snagged or scratched. Guardsman furniture polish or any furniture polish that doesn’t contain silicone is recommended.
